League of Legend's Edge

Hey Guys, I'm a long time League player, and I have always loved playing this game, more so then any other game out there. I've always liked the games concept and play style, but more then that I appreciated the games standards. I felt like the designers always were aiming to make a game that sells and that people play because they enjoy the game play, the quality, and the lore. However, I've noticed that League, and maybe even Riot, has taken a dip into the edgy side of gaming. What really has taken me back is how much the game has become more crude and sexual. I appreciated that I could find an engaging rated T game, and not one that pushed the borders of what is T and what is M. Sadly, and I think we can all see this, League as a whole (the recently released animations especially) has become violent and seedy. From the gory scenes of Zed to the implied nudity in Lux's short (which kind of soils her lore and turns her into more of a sex icon in my opinion). I also noticed the recently introduced cursing on certain skins (Elemental Lux for example) Why do we even have an option to block profanity in chat if the game is just going to add it in anyways. I get the idea that League is starting to try and sell more so to a slightly profound adult audience instead of a more family friendly one. I understand that there has always been a certain level of crudity in the game (sexually driven skins, inappropriate mating season jokes, etc) but is it going to continue to rise at the current rate? Is it going to get to the point that I shouldn't recommend the game to my younger brother because of how vile it is becoming?

So what do you guys think? Do you like the changes toward more mature content? I would love to see any riot response because I've been getting a little bugged by this for quite some time now :L

Thanks Guys! -Public
