What's the Point

I am getting so annoyed by people ruining the League community. I mean look at this kid! Telling me to kill myself and my family? We need to fix our community fast!

Beyond reporting, did you also submit a ticket with this specific picture? Naming and shaming publicly on forums isn't the way to go, as fellow player really can't do much.

My best advice: take this picture and submit a ticket, name and all, then repost the attached picture with the name blotted out. It's still a horrid (but valid) example of player behavior and I agree it should be shown, but including the name is counted as naming and shaming. Not saying the guy shouldn't be instantly banned for this, but I don't want you to be brought down to his level, you know?

Being a PVP game, there is no way to completely get rid of all bad behavior (see ESRB Rating "Online interactions not rated by ESRB"). It has gotten a lot better over the years because of Honor and the Tribunal. Also, the mute button is a very useful tool for ignoring particularly toxic people :)

If it's normals, the first time anyone says anything annoying I'll simply mute them.
Problem solved.
In ranked, I'll mute the entire enemy team from the beginning.

I love mute so much...

I take extreme pleasure in typing out the following sentence and then watching them say nothing the rest of the game (cuz i didnt mute them):

"Muted and reported. (and if its an ally) use pings to communicate."

Instant shut up, maybe they will type out lol... but thats it, its amazing.

Its like a mute button on its own.

Its like as soon as the person realizes that they literally just commited a reportable offense they stfu and play.
