Should I buy Zed or Ekko?

I can't decide. I really like bursty assassins. I like that zed has energy instead of mana but he also seems like he can't teamfight well. Any suggestions?

Ekko is a little harder to play well, but has a lot more teamfight potential than Zed. Zed can delete one person really well, but that's all he can do.

Imo though, Ekko is more fun and a better contribution to the team.
