The Player Community

I have been playing LOL for a while - over the course of several years.

During the Summer my computer broke and I didn't get a new one for a few months. During that time I did not play LOL.

Upon coming back the games with actual trolls, imploding team mates, and toxic players seem to be so much more abundant - especially in ranked. It's worth noting that I am only silver, so not high. I've noticed the poor quality of some players in the past, but it seems so bad these days. I feel like I rarely have "normal" games anymore (normal in the sense that it's five players verse another five and all ten are actually playing/trying).

The toxic attitudes are everywhere in the games I play. They often spread their moods to other players too, involving those who do and don't deserve it. I know there is the judicial system, but it doesn't seem to work (with how much negativity is out there). This is easily the worst online game community I've ever been involved in. Many players even joke around how they're going to continue trolling with the reporting system by honoring the negative players and reporting the positive/neutral ones.

I looked forward to coming back when I got a new computer, but I am so far very disappointed. Maybe I needed that break to realize how negatively this game was affecting me.

It's so rarely fun anymore.
