Can a ~$300 Budget Laptop Play LOL Well?

Hey - I am looking to get a new laptop (primarily for school) and have about $300 to spend. I would like be able to play (lighter?) games such League of Legends, etc. Would a ~$300 laptop be able to run LOL well (I'm fine with normal settings)? Would this put heavy strain on the laptop?

Tried it. Expect at best 30 fps during team fights on bare minimum graphic settings.

You'll see 15-30 fps on lowest settings and potential overheating issues which will very quickly cause significant wear.

You can but the FPS is not high. about 30 and sometime it will drop.

I have looked at desktops versus laptops before, But ultimately decided I'd prefer a laptop (and then down The line, when I have more money, build a sweet desktop). I Am finishing school, not starting (my old laptop broke and am Looking for a replacement to finish up school with (and LOL on Occasion).

Any recommendations? Even hardware recommendations would Be awesome so I know what to look for. Thanks in advance!

advice from a laptop user, never play this game in laptop. no matter how powerful your system is you gonna have to play in medium or low settings otherwise in team fight you will roam around like a lost soul, waiting to be claimed. better use the laptop for school. and save to get a desktop... it come from the voice of experience.
