To the Ex - Galio mains..... How are you dealing with it?

So like the title says, to all the Ex- Galio mains, as you seem to be hugely vocal about the rework and him being so changed Gameplay wise. How do you deal with it?

I joined league at patch 5.18 to play Yorick, as I saw he was a true minionmancer.... and then he got reworked into a shadow of what he was, and now the other champ i picked up (Urgot) is being utterly changed to and probably won't even be the same. SO how are you dealing with it?

For me, its just literally playing FIll only now, picking up random champs for a week and just playing them. (Played every single champ in the game besides Udyr so don't reccomend)

im surprised you haven't picked up when i think minionmancer i think this purple floater, and if you're gravitating towards urgot and old yorick is sounds like you gravitate to low counterplay exploits, and thats literally all malzahar is when you learn his quirks

Except for Malz was gutted and I used to play him lots lol, he is half minionmancer.

LIke old Yorick, 4/4 spells were summons, thats it, that was his kit, just summoning shit with different effects. IN any game I play (GW, WoW, RPG) I always play a necromancer/minion commander dude lol

50% winrate in support role. 51% winrate in mid, hardly gutted

but i see your struggle with old yorick vs new, new yorick isn't like a ranged summoner/necromancer like in RPG's and the old design of yorick was super low counterplay, one of the only champions whose design was so anti fun that they removed him from the free champion rotation. maybe riot will try and make another true summoner champion in league but they have a lot of hurdles to get over for a PVP game like league

I was not a Galio main b4 but he is in such a better place now imo!!! The ways you can build, play, and strategize with team comps is really getting me interested in maining him!!

Also, try Udyr. He's tough but fun.

Udyr is not rlly tough... He's literally all autoatacks and empowered auto attacks.

But that's the thing: he doesn't have all the fancy tricks that newer champs have, meaning you have to pick what to bring to a fight, and when to switch stances, unlike how, say, Kha'zix just jumps from a bush and unloads everything on you.

But you can switch stances every second... And let's face it, you bring the stun, then pheonix, then bear pheonix alternate, then turtle stun to escape. He's like old Katarina, you just have to know when to go in. In fact I think the only reason they haven't reworked the dude is Spirit Guard Udyr... They wouldn't know what to do with it.

But the thing is, you basically get one go on each ability for a fight, because they're on a six second cooldown.

Also, it would take work to fix up SG udyr, but as long as they keep the basic look I'm fine.

Stop picking champion that are on the rework list? I mean besides the mini reworks (on the class updates) all the otehr reworks were announced years ago
