Well, I've encountered a couple people who did that one thing in One for All where you unlock all the skins for that champion for everyone on your team for only that match. Some people don't mind spending RP in such ways on a whim.

But still, for that one in One for All, he also gets to use the skin along with the other 4 people. We're talking about rare generous people who were willing to sacrifice their own 490RPs for a single person who they don't even know. I really doubt I'll be able to be gifted for a very long time..

I think the truth about mystery gifting if when you get a skin for a champ you almost never play and completely forget you own it, play with default a few times before one day noticing you have a skin unlocked, lol
