Say if I don't want to let one of my friends to know I'm online now, how do I do that?
Can I just block them and unblock them after I'm done? If so, will they still be on my friend list once I unblock them?

Because of "those" kinds of friends, who you just can't remove but feel awkward to have them see you online.

I just change my status to offline

How do you do that? Do you mean "Away"? Because that's the only status I could change to.
If it is that, what I would like to know is that if there is any way that I would just appear as invisible/offline on someone's friend list even if I'm online. Whether or not it's meaningful or whatever aside, I just wanted to know if there is a way to do that because why not, more options is good.
