I understand about Darius's fear, being all high & mighty whilst going all "Thor mode" during his ult and shit. But Urgot? What about him? Like, he swaps places between his targeted enemy and his monstrous belly & shouts "SURPRISE MOTHERF'CKER!!" at the enemies he appears to?
Your ally freezes in place, strange energy twisting around him. Then he suddenly vanishes. In his place stands a giant monstrosity, part war machine, part once dead but now reanimated man. Destructive energies cackle from him, the cannon on one arm in particular that he's readying in your direction. Blood drips from the blade on his other arm and that too's starting to spin up as he stares at you with dead, hateful eyes.
TLDR: Friend gone. Suddenly, monster machine/man/crab that's gonna cut you up big time. Therefore, feared.
They're scared of how ugly his character model is.

i'm pretty sure riot's watching me. i wrote up my own urgot rework that gave him a 1.5 second fear, and now riot gives him a 1.5 second fear. i'm onto you riot.

Riots clearly trying to get players to play Urgot again.We all know the real reason players dont want to is because he has a hilariously low skill ceiling and it doesnt fill fufilling to play him past 5 games. However Riot doesnt have the time to give him an entire new kit so theyre simply adding on some fluff to try to entice players to pick him up again ( Just like how 
is sleeper OP but nobody cares to play him because hes boring). tacking on all these random buffs out of nowhere its sad really. some will say its because hes ugly. some will say its because he isnt strong or cant carry. but we all know the truth. The reason that nobody likes Urgot is because hes downright boring.(and hes not the only one with this sort of problem)
