@Riot Why Don't We Have Map Re-skins Anymore?

Winter, Halloween, lore events, etc. I'm not an old player, but I know there used to be tons of opportunities for map reskins that were used on the old SR. There was even one for the Olympics.

Why doesn't Riot do this anymore? I feel like the reason would be "we dont have enough resources" or "we dont have enough time" etc., but I know for a fact there are players who will and have custom made their own full map re-textures on their own or with a small group. Not only would many of them willingly allow Riot to use their re-texture or idea, but to be honest Riot has the resources anyway. There is no time line, their is no budget (LoL is the most grossing only video game currently at over 1,600 Billion last year), and their really isn't a short in workforce since their are people who would literally work for free to give Riot ideas or re-skins.

This goes for really any cosmetics. I can understand not being able to further skin concepts because they need models, splashes, animations, and so forth.

But when a person literally has the full map re-skin on hand, its not that hard to ask them formally to use it and rewrite the code to load the alternate textures instead of default.
