Galio with 52.8% winrate?
Not saying he sucks or whatever, but just that he is rarely seen in any matches, so where the heck did that come from?

Because he sees so few matches, the only people who play him are people who tend to know what they are doing.
People forget how good he can be against the right teamcomps. His shield is amazing, he has strong poke, and his ult is similar to Amumu's except it's easier to avoid with Tenacity (and how certain champs can smack him right out of it like Bear-Stance
and 
).
I've always loved Galio since the first time I tried him. He's my main mid for ranked =)
In addition to what Jamaree said, people tend to also not know how to play against him.
