Chroma skins should reflect the skill of the player USING the champion

Riot is implementing a Champion mastery system where people get to master their skills on a specific champion and get a ranking for that champion. Why not insert Chroma skins as a reward for that? When people see a Vi with green hair they should be afraid of that Vi, because it means that the player worked hard enough with that champion to EARN the skin, and to be able to show off that prestige and hard work.

This is actually a great opportunity for Riot to keep players tied to the game and tied to their champions. The higher the skill mastery, the more chromas should be available for different skin tiers.

Example: Tier 3 mastery of Hecarim would grant chromas of his basic skin, while Tier 5 would grant a chroma of like Arcade Hec, so that one would have to own, or purchase the skin to be granted to recoloring of the skin.

I just think this is an very very powerful opportunity for Riot and for players to get better at the game.

Please don't prioritize monetary gains over the actual benefit of the game. It's really sad to see a really player-interactive company become a company like Nexon who's sole purpose is to increase revenue.

Not everybody wants their skill with a champion to be on display from the start. There are also already enough people who assume skins=skill and will rage harder if the person doen't faceroll the opposition.

The champion mastery would already reflect their skill with a champion and put that on display regardless of the skin or not.

Skins are cosmetic. Period.
