Hard to carry when the score is 14-32, and you have 10 of the kills. Hard to do much when you are against a split pushing tryndamere and feeding lanes everywhere else...

Well huge majority of your team's gold is on one person, it is hard to play. If you aren't in the fight, then your team has nothing to fight with. I would guess that's part of why you guys lost. Kill distribution is a thing and focusing on gold on one person is bad, unless that person can 1v5 enemy team, which is rare.

Soraka, and probably morg carried more weight than you. Kills aren't everything.
If all you see out of that game was how hard you 'carried' and still lost, you're missing the point and probably belong where you are. You won lane, but didn't use that leverage properly. Most likely the trynd was lower rank than you, therefor someone else on your team was vs someone higher rank than them. If your lane is easy, then it is not your lane you need to focus on.
I mean maybe you wouldn't have won anyway, but focusing on your kda and kda's only is missing the picture.
