Don't Xmas shop at Walmart.com

The silly underpaid sweat shop workers don't know what they are doing. I order something with rush shipping, to be delivered on the 23rd to my parents home, which I was staying at over holidays. They don't even process the order for 55 hours. Fifty fucking five hours. After finally processing the order, it ships on the 24th. What the fuck already. Oh, by the way, I can't track the order because the tracking number they gave me was made up. Literally. I called FedEx and the nice lady told me that the number did not even have the amount of numbers needed to be a FedEx tracking number. Well, this is fun so far. I get a text from my girlfriend back at home saying that we had a note on the apartment saying delivery failed because no one was home. I'm like what the fuck could I be getting there, I ordered nothing. Call FedEx back. Well happy to find out that my package was sent there instead. I know what you're thinking, "silly OP entered home address into shipping". Nope. Email even says shipping to X address, the same one that I wanted it shipped to.

Tl;dr: Walmart processed my order the day that they said I should have received my package. I then get a made up tracking number so that I can't track my order. Then, they ship my late package to the wrong address. Way to be able to type on a computer Walmart employee.

Ordered from both this season, both did just fine. Of course I didn't wait until it was days prior to Christmas, but there's planning for ya. As an Amazon Prime member I was supposed to get faster shipping, but UPS mishandled the package and Walmarts arrived first. However, ordering off of BestBuys website I was able to order, checkout, pay, and received confirmation only to receive another email two days later saying the item was back ordered and I should receive it by the 3rd of January... Needless to say I called for a refund and after 37 minutes of hold time finally got a human only to be told they can't refund it because it was a "pending charge" and that I can cancel the order, but it'll take 5-7 business days to get my money back. Now THAT is a shite experience.

This country is going downhill so fast. That's not even making a mistake, or two or three mistakes - that's pure laziness and complete incompetence. How hard is it to manipulate three variables to reflect user input? When the system does 90% of it for you anyway. Ugh.

Such a pet peeve of mine.. walmart either needs to whip their people into shape or fire them. Maybe they aren't paid enough? Whatever the case is, imagine the guy probably dropped the ball in similar fashion on hundreds of orders. It's not even just an annoyance, but it actually creates more work for you. Stupid. That's why I use Amazon. Walmart is a joke.

This is really obvious, isn't it? Amazon beats all of their prices, and they don't screw up.

I work doing worldshipping at an amazon. There could have been one of many things wrong with your label, I know I speak from experience.

This and though it may be hard to realize yours is one of many MANY last minute gifts/packages being sent out and unfortunately some do fall through the cracks when there is a serious shortage of staffing and combined with an overabundance of time sensitive rushed work.

Accidents happen, hopefully you got your package, even though it sounds like it was late... my advice to you would be not to blame one bad instance/incident on an entire company of people who are just like you with flaws that can't always be helped.

You sound mad... Merry Christmas anyway?
