Should a "Skip Ban" button be added?

A small minority of us team captains see banning as the mark of a coward, to afraid to face off against certain enemies. We welcome a good fight no matter the match-up. It is on behalf of this group of summoners that I hereby request that the honorable programmers at Riot amend the champ select banning phase to include a "Skip Ban" button, so that we do not have to waste time waiting for the timer to run down. That is 2 minutes that would be better spent fighting in the Fields of Justice.

i would report you after the game for assisting the enemy team, if you pulled the no ban BS

go play team builder or blind then.

There are some people on your team that may have a champ preference and could use the bans for laning purposes. The point is to win not show how brave you are in a virtual environment.

Well that is nice for you, but the captain must think of their teammates and the team as a whole instead of themselves.

Bans in solo queue are in place more so to eliminate game-breaking champions from the match rather than avoiding certain enemy team compositions.

If you are queuing with your own team, you can communicate beforehand that no bans will be placed; however, in Solo queue, if a teammate is going, say, Zed mid, and he/she asks you to ban Fizz or Riven, you should ban Fizz or Riven.

It's only 2 fcking minutes....lmao Please riot ignore this post. Please don't spend your human resource on this crap, fix the server lag issue instead. I'd rather wait 2 minutes before every game than lag every 10 sec IN game.

There is no point in being brave if you're going to lose to what should have been banned out. By refusing to ban anything, you're screwing four other people out of an enjoyable game, and instead, forcing them to play against champions that they don't want to play against.

In my opinion, the first three should be able to have their own ban instead of hoping the captain listens to you instead of ignoring everyone else.

If NOTHING else, spend that time organizing your team. Maybe in a premade team of 5, though.

sometimes leaving bans open can be strategy. so i agree that there should be a button, just not for the reason you outlined. being a coward has nothing to do with it.
