Please introduce a "Skip Ban" button for us non-coward Captains

A small minority of us team captains see banning as the mark of a coward, to afraid to face off against certain enemies. We welcome a good fight no matter the match-up. It is on behalf of this group of summoners that I hereby request that the honorable programmers at Riot amend the champ select banning phase to include a "Skip Ban" button, so that we do not have to waste time waiting for the timer to run down. That is 2 minutes that would be better spent fighting in the Fields of Justice.

Edit September 2017: They instituted a "No Ban" with the new 10 ban system! Thank you Riot!

You're talking about being able to allow the team to vote on whether they want bans skipped or not, right?

Because I'm not sure that your team (unless they're your friends) is gonna like the idea of having to deal with champs that they can't handle because of some kind of "Honor" code.

Each summoner has their turn to serve as team captain, and is granted the authority that comes with that position. When I lead my team I choose to do so by my "honor code" as you put it. When others are chosen to be captain I respect their decisions, I expect the same from my fellow summoners.

(spits) We should not have to resort to what our allies would refer to as "troll bans". Perhaps there is a summoner on the other team who has an unusual taste is champions, and if so then I welcome them to prove their mettle in combat.
