Its really starting to seem like those are the only 2 game modes we get, with the occasional all for one sprinkled in every now and then. Can we please get dominon, urf, aurf, or hexakill more often. Because at this point im extrememly tired of seeing poro king and Ascension. Would it be possible to even take those two out of the rotation for a while.

They announced about a month ago that we'd get one per patch from now on and ascension is on the Pbe right now with its tweaks so Urf should be anytime. Wrath KO2 votesNobody cares about the new client. It's slow, unresponsive, glitchy and overall bad anyway. If you cared about playing the other game types, there is this awesome button at the login of the new client that says "launch legacy client," which will take you to the old, responsive client. And also, if they knew the game types weren't going to work with the new client, whose smart idea was it to release the client so early? Sounds like they need to remove someone from their staff for making such poor judgement calls. Moral of the story, not everyone uses that shitty client, the shitty client should not even be released right now, and also, Riot needs to do their job a little better.
LostFr0st1 votes? Nobody is forcing you to use the new client, but the old one NEEDS replacing. The old one literally falls apart after playing 7+ consecutive games and the buttons start disappearing in champ select.
The new game types do work 'with' the new client, but the champ select for each does not exist (they have different picking types and ban cadences and some are blind, some draft.) They prioritized Winter rift and doom bots which people were waiting for 2+ years. We've been waiting a mere 6ish months for Urf. We can wait a couple more patches.
The new client is still in Alpha, and isn't 'released' yet, so I'm not sure why you're so angry. How do you expect them to find rare bugs on computer versions/types they don't have in the office if they never test it live?
Wrath KO1 votesI'm angry because we are stuck playing shitty games because Riot is so dumb they release a client early, and then use the excuse that because they haven't prepared the client, we are stuck with shitty games. I don't see what was hard to understand? And weird that it falls apart and i've been playing since 09 and never once has the old client ever done anything bad. But you are 100% right (sarcasm)
LostFr0st1 votesLegit the buttons just disappear. Watch any stream and you'll see that consistently after a few games. The client loses functionality and you have to close and re-log. It sucks if you're in champ select since you're forced to dodge.
I think they tried the 4 weeks of Poro mostly to see what the sweet spot for RGMs were. Poro king is super popular, and one weekend was way too short since people would miss it and have work, but 4 weeks just drags on wayyyy too long.
Wrath KO2 votesI have literally never experienced these problems in my 8 years of playing, but I do witness many a problems on the shitty new client. The only problem I have had with the old client, is when playing an ARAM and hitting "play again" and it taking me to the custom game lobby (not a big deal). My point is still valid, you don't release a client that is not ready to be released. It's one thing to release an alpha client, but this new client should not be in the alpha testing phase. As for Poro King being popular? Where? I have not talked to one person in this game who actually says, "out of all of Riots specialty games, I'd prefer to play The Poro King."

Lovelle1 votesHexakill doesn't seem that much different from Poro King. The same type of champs/team comps dominate (Ranged AoE, Press-R-to-Win comps), with no deviations. Most people take URF way too seriously, and I honestly don't blame them for putting this mode on the back burner.
