I don't play Ranked. Is that a bad thing?

Been playing since late Season 2, iirc, over that time I've played like 10 or 11 ranked games. I'm Bronze I, technically

Each and every one of those games had the most suffocating and hostile atmosphere, and I didn't want to play with or even be around most of those players

I thought I was doing something for myself by just sticking to normals, but then there are the ranked rewards, and don't even get me started on people looking up my account, seeing I'm Bronze I and then telling me my opinion is invalid.

Should I just tough it out and see how far I get?
