I don't know what I'm doing wrong gameplay wise, I'm trying my best but I cannot get past Silver 2, even though Im getting 20-23 a win and lose 16 -18 a Loss (LP) I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, I need advice on what to do and I don't know how I'm suppose to get out of Silver 2. Upvote this however you like I just need some people's advice please.

Thanks

Edit: I've made this post after a complete soul crushing defeat, and only the past 3 days have I been on such a massive loss streak, from the 31st to the 7th I got from my placed Bronze 1 to S2 and now it's been a pattern of 2 losses 1 win untill my last few games.

1 thing you really need to do is upgrade your trinket level 9. You never do it. This is something that plagues bronze silver and gold players.

It's a very easy way to win more games. Vision is life.

I don't have much advice here but I can point out one thing, for real improvement though you should look for better players to review your games after you review them.

The one thing is related to your friend. I do not know if you play a lot with them, the soul stealy one, but they are a few divisions under you. They also have a 48% winrate in their ranked season while you have 56%. On top of that looking in your games over the past two days you have played 9 games with them and lost 78% of those games.

Maybe this is a new trend in your games together or maybe you should not rank with this person. I suggest climbing alone, it is hard to find a climb partner that you can really trust to perform well enough for you to climb. You have to remember, when you queue with someone you change your skill.

If you are alone with 1000 MMR, you will be queued with people of that skill level. Other 1000 MMR players. If you duo, you are only as good as the average between you basically. So if you duo with a 500 MMR person, then together you are only 750 MMR strong and you will be queued with these 750 MMR players instead. So you harm yourself. Instead of 5 1000 MMR teammates you get 1 1000, 1 500 and 3 750. Your opposing team will be roughly 5 750 MMRs. So this lower person you are queuing with will have a harder game while you might have an easier one. But it is far easier to exploit a weak player in this game than it is to carry. This 500 MMR on your team will become a target and a point in which pressure can be freely applied.

Just food for thought.

i'd suggest learning some more champions. I know, you're a Riven player. That's fine. But if you learn alot of other top champions, you will ALSO know how to play against them and how their combos work.

Perhaps you're not focussing on Objectives properly? Not getting towers after a won fight etc.

Try to adapt your build to the given situation. Yeah Ravenous, BC and Lucidity boots are strong items on Riven, but perhaps the enemy team has a lot of CC, it could be worth considering taking Mercs.
