Totally balanced considering you have negative health. Should mean you're dead all game and never get to even place a sapling.
What's that purple thing in your inventory if not Adaptive Helm?

To be fair, with 12k Hp (1 Gargoyle Proc with 3 enemies nearby) your saplings can last around 600 seconds, about 6 and half minutes which is pretty decent, even without the 3 man proc they can last for almost 5. Wards galore.
