Why don't we get a compensation when severs are down like other games? something as simple as a IP boost would be cool, just to help make up for the lost time

It's not that they don't want to listen. They just can't abide to everyone's wishes. Even with all of it's success it's still stayed free to play. The micro-transactions are purely our choice for cosmetic purpose. It's not their job to compensate us for a simple server issue that they are trying to fix.

think of it this way, its riots job to keep the game going, now what happened to the hundred of thousands that can only play for a short time today and cant because the sever is down, riot is letting them down, would it be so bad as to give a small ip boost to make it u to them next they can play? not like they will lose money and it wouldn't be hard.
and on top of all this, I do believe it is their job to keep the player base happy as we pay them billions of bucks
Myotismon1 votesFirstly, them having to perform emergency maintenance is hardly a simple server issue. Secondly, it IS their job to compensate their fan base for loss. Sure, we choose to buy skins, but we also expect a product in return for our money. IF we can't use said product, then we should be compensated. I'm not talking about something crazy like 10,000 RP. I'm talking about maybe a 5 win IP boost. Hell, after tonight, maybe a 10 win IP Boost.
Fact of the matter is, this makes the game extremely undesirable and it's bad PR for RIOT when they don't compensate for the loss. Do you know anything about publicity and marketing?
