I love that you used that gif. I'm on a Supernatural Netflix binge atm :P
Thanks for the introduction (and the vouching and pushing that got me here!).
I knew this would happen someday, congrats man.
Hey man, sorry for letting you down. I went to link your 3rd party app use post and saw this and it made me sad :(
Team Arbiter,
you mean these guys?
Well, since DTN hangs around on the player behavior & moderation threads a lot, expect tons of stuff there to be deleted. White knight and all that jazz.
Incomin' downvotes
No one deserves the position more than him/her.
Damnit Nami tops me once again riiiip.
Anyway gratz dude <3
What is the process for becoming an arbiter? Can anyone volunteer their time towards the boards, even if it isn't necessarily by becoming an arbiter?
Also, congratulations to Deep Terror Nami, a devoted and exemplary member of our community.
Looks like the boards have stooped to an all new low...
It's great that another Nami main has managed to accomplish something. I should only hope that their arbiting skills are not as bad as my Nami skills.
I didn't even know what an arbiter was until this was posted. :p
Congrats man. I am sure you will be a positive effect on the community, and a good role model for all to follow.
Though if I may add, looking at the arbiter thread, I hope that more people grow to appreciate the position rather than criticize it. It seems a lot of people see it as "unnecessary," but there is a value in having these sorts of less comprehensive/influential positions.
Volunteers at low capacity are seen all the time in the real world who provide the small-scale footwork that often times agencies are unable to do themselves (usually due to funding), or cannot justify creating an entire position for these specific responsibilities that just require more attention when the client base is so large. It's just a little bit of help that adds a personal touch, and we should all be thankful for the time and dedication that these volunteers provide. These are players just like the rest of us who have full-time lives outside of this volunteer work, and have worked hard to be a resource for all of us to have access to.
So again, congrats to Deep Terror Nami, and thank you to the arbiters as a whole. Maybe we can play some games sometime!
