Will you be given a notification about an incoming LP decay when not playing any rank games?

Just wanna check up. My smurf is on Platinum, and I'm quite new to the whole high elo system.

Not just LP decay btw, I have 0 LP for now, so will I still be getting a notification about a chance of getting demoted to Gold 1 for not playing Rank games for a long time?
