Are promo games supposedly harder by default ?

I feel like whenever I have promos my game suddenly turns into a single player experience, in which my teammates are controlled by really weak AI's and the enemy team is controlled by average level AI's .

Really, what the sh*t man ?

First promo , i do the most damage , take the most damage, have the most cs, and the most gold in my team, get called useless by teammates, our last pick thought that it's a good idea to go support nunu with a corki, bot failed incredibly, our jungler vi refused to use her ultimate in certain fights because " we're idiots " . Loss.

Second promo i have to actually carry my team with a goddamn support Braum . Blocking 21431 ezreal ultimates, getting 2-3 man ultimates everytime and stunning enemy carries .

And third game, well, it's actually pathetic. I get a vayne that afk's half the game, a feeding jax at top, and a feeder katarina on mid + a flaming asshole thresh.

At least don't give me promos anymore Riot . Just let me in my sorrow in Gold II.

This system is pathetic, it let's me rape everyone in my division, because i clearly do not belong in this goddamn elo, then gives me promos, and during promos gives me penguins as teammates.

What's the point in that ?
