ok riot games,after hearing that the new crafting system will let us buy chests that can give skin shards for ip i was pretty hyped i even got some faith in you,but clicking the project crafting guide you let me down again once more.

It's a chance, i know odds are slim, but instead of rerolling, save the shards for when you get a real skim you want, so you'll have enough blue essance.

Not only is it RNG up to a point to earn keys, you can also Only earn four chests a Month. But HEY BUT AS MANY AS YOU WANT FOR RP (even though you could just buy the RP and get the skin you want... Or Mystery gift yourself at a much cheaper rate than you would to get stuff in hex tech)
Riot advertised it as a way to earn free stuff then made it terrible and added a way to pay for it. Making it a cleverly disguised cash grab (since chromas failed because everyone realized they were just a cash grab on easy recolors that were overpriced)

4 chests a month is pretty much free skin every 2 months? +- Dont cry because it's not spirit guard udyr, it's locked behind RNG because skins are riot's main profit from this F2P game!
BlâckLotus1 votesyeah the fact that skins are riots source of income doesnt mean that they should treat players this way,dota also has skins but you can get them through gameplay,with all champions unlocked.just because a game is free to play doesnt mean the company can give you all kinds of shits and you have to take it,you dont remember the days when wins gave you 80 ip and half the champions costed 6300ip,i do .you had to win 600 games to get a champion.i dont feel entitled in getting free stuff i feel entitled in getting some form of reward other than stacking my 40k ip in the game.

Im not crying at all, Ive gotten some neat stuff from it, however the hextech system is terrible, because you have the option to buy stuff from it. Its a cash grab, you cant get anything decent (in terms of skins/ect) from the chests at just four a month with the crappy RNG for keys.
you can earn stuff over time sure, but its not made to be able to give you free stuff which is why riot added the ability to buy keys/chests... aka a cash grab

Spend time on the game you love, dont have much time? You have the option to pay. Saying it's a cash grab is like saying releasing the game for free but having the option to buy champions with real cash is cash grab (oh look, OP already said it's "greedy")
If the keys were paid for only, i'd be all with you on that cash grab opinion, but everything can be earned, it's slow because thats how they keep the skin flow in check so people like OP wont just get everything for free, stuff people worked to create. You dont even know what cash grab is.

I Main Soraka, so after Program Soraka came off i bought it immediately, that is some profit to Riot. If they would have given me that skin for free they wouldn't have made profit. Why are you disappointed anyway? We are getting free skins, skins which cost money to buy. I find this better than nothing!

This RNG scam is nothing but a cheap trick used by cheap internet cafe MMOs that every developer feels they need to copy and paste. Drown it in sugar all you want. It won't change the fact that it's a cheap scam, which works I might add, that people need to start refusing to participate in. The IP aspect is fine I guess, but it needs removed from RP.
