Tanks are gone Marksman are kings (still, just even worse) Mages are outclassed Bruisers are now either completely overpowered or absolute garbage Assassins will soon be raped with nerfs if they touch the adc overlords
The only people who like these changes are adc mains and Riven mains and the supports who get the better adc

you're right. Theres also item changes that cater to adcs and adcs only.

There's item changes that benefit Marksman more than anybody, there's marksman updates that are gross.
Nothing has changed that's of high importance other than Marksman sitting on their thrones and becoming even more godly

the point is that there are serious flaws with the new season changes, particularly the complete destruction of solo queue by allowing 5 man premades into it.
so no you do not speak for me or "most players" in the OP. They destroyed my favorite game mode entirely. They do not deserve praise for that.
But please, feel free to defend the elimination of solo queue with logic, as opposed to just trying to butter up Rito with hollow compliments.

The removal of solo queue is a horrible idea, duo queue players were already the bane of ranked play. This makes the problem so much worse.
Deep Terror Nami2 votesThis is how Normals are run, but I haven't been hearing people say Normals are horrid because of premade groups. Besides, everyone is going to get their choice of roles with Team Builder Draft, so the issue of duo's stealing roles to swap to the other person won't exist, and premade groups are subject to discipline for harassment just the same as a solo player. They've never had any special treatment.
Kat Head1 votesAlmost all of my ranked and normal misery has been due to groups on my team or the other team. In the forms of toxic behavior or coordination you can not match. People complain all the time about it in normals, and normals do not even matter to most people.
Duo queue is one of the most complained about aspects of ranked play and Riot is adding up to 5 man queue for SOLO queue.
Horrible idea.

Experience is how I am judging this. Experience in ranked with and against duos. Experience in normals with and against all different sizes of premades. This does not work and is something people have been complaining about in normals forever. I 100% do not understand how Riot could ever think this is a good idea.
Riot is alienating the vast majority of the player base by doing this. The funny part is they are to stupid to know that.

Saltinc1 votesI can't wait to see how this will unfold though. They are trying things that I have wanted them to try for a while now. New build paths for adcs, vision control stimulation, a better draft system, and the starter items. Things are going to be interesting thats for sure.

The one this I'm really confused about is increasing cost but decreasing the damage of both BORK, and wits end.... And devourer stacks won't start gathering till you're at 14th min into the game( even if you powerfarm). I see this season as the waning of devourer junglers in SoloQ. Except shyvana dear, she has so much clear speed now that she doesn't give 2 fucks about it xD
EDIT: As master yi I lost against a kogmaw with 3 borks in PBE. I had sated, bork, and yomumu. Took out 40% of my health before we had even begun fighting. When I finally reached him, was able to take him out when I was with 1% health. Same thing in the live, I'd have gotten out with 40% health and the kogmaw dead. Rito pls :'(
Deep Terror Nami1 votesIt's a numbers game that is tough to see without a lot of data to refer to. I'm going to wait and see how strong they are on live for a while until I consider marksmen OP. It does look fun, at the very least.
They said they want to look at either tanks and/or supports next for updates, since they've focused on damage roles so far. Can't wait.
