PSA: If you agree or like a post, upvote it

Hello I am Bird·2/24/2016, 3:51:15 PM·49 votes·833 views

Nobody is going to hurt you for upvoting something, hell, you only know whether you upvoted it or not.

If there is a thread saying "Yasuo is op" and you agree with that, then you have every right to upvote it, assuming you enjoy the content of the thread itself.

And if you comment, leave a rating.

This can be a downvote or upvote, but if you are gonna take the time to comment on something, at least give it a little curtesy on the way out with an upvote/downvote.

PSA:If you have a reply to make, make a reply!

But like in all seriousness, what is the purpose of this thread? The OP seems to be suggesting "vote on threads" which is a basic feature, that I'm quite certain the boards community is full well aware of.

Are you trying to suggest that users shouldn't be afraid of backlash? That's a horrible proposal! Without criticism, how would we ever improve? How would we ever learn right from wrong? I say embrace failure, and more importantly, use it as a catalyst to improve yourself and others.

So like, am I not allowed to have no distinct opinion about a post? Like this thread isn't wrong or outlandish, but I'm sure as heck not ecstatic about it either. Hence, neither an upvote nor downvote.

World isn't black or white. Unless there's some hidden impractical grayscale for the upvote system, I do what I want.

Upvoted.

Even then, a lot of people are downvoting because they simply disagree even if the comment is contributing greatly to the conversation. I'm pretty sure it's not a hard rule to remember...

There is a huge difference between "You're wrong this champ is OP" and "I think this champion is too strong because he has too much poke and little cost. We should look into doing X, Y, Z to balance it out."

I would leave a "thank you!" gif of "The Office", but I don't have one.

I upvote even if I don't necessarily agree with the poster as long as the post is well thought out or sparks intelligent discussion. It increases visibility on the best of our community.
