They just had one not too long ago. If it wasn't the skin heist thing, it was the "event" before it.

why though? they already made it possible to get that change with IP only. There is really no reason to reduce the RP price!

it feels like they make a world of $$$ right? but we really don't know. I'd rather have them invest all the $ they have as surplus to be put into infrastructure so i can have my Season2 75 ping back (am at 125 atm). I keep on spending RP in the hopes the $ they earn go towards bettering connectivity and stuff. I mean its cool when stuff goes on sale, but i am ok with the prices. They are not outrageous.. Well except for the ward skins! they are on the pricey side XD

I sadly do not think they will ever put the money into servers and stuff. I think this because they have made literally 0 effort to it, and they already make a shit ton of money lol.

you have insights in their books? And you think the new servers they just put up didn't cost anything? And the data-highways they mentioned which are to go live in 2015 would be free of charge for Riot? Do you have a source?

revenue does not equal profit, is all i can say to that!

tell me all you know about the overhead of such a huge company. I dont know, i just know that the 30 employee company i used to work for had a huge overhead. you "think" they are making tons of $. and maybe they are. But to think that they are investing - how did you call it - " literally 0 effort to it" is ludicrous. If League is such a big moneymaker as you think it is (again, maybe it is) do you really think Riot would not want to make it better to keep on earning money? I am done arguing here but imma bookmark this post so i can make fun of you if things ever get better ;)

I know that revenue is not the same as profit, not even arguing that in the slightest. I stated that they make a shit ton of money, without regards to how the spend it as well. They do make a shit ton of money. If they company wasn't making a profit, they simple would not continue. If they weren't making a decent amount of money, they wouldn't be hiring people to keep designing new champs and skins and maps. I mean, the new map alone was a big project that took a good amount of people I am sure. If they were not in a good financial spot, they wouldn't have wasted resources on making a new map when the old one was perfectly playable. Not complaining about the new map or skins or anything like that, just simply stated that these things wouldn't be done if the company didn't have money to do so.

Please tell me what effort they made to improve servers? I see none. Basically everyone on the east coast is getting worse ping than they did when the started playing the game. The game has more stability issues now than it did when I started playing, but we have 10 million champs and skins. As for your make it better to keep earning money comment, why? They already bring in crazy revenue now. People are still buying skins and such with the current state of the servers, so what advantage do they see in spending money on it? It would take away from the bottom line of the owner, and that wouldn't be good for him/her. So, thus far, nothing has been done. No need to change something that is already bringing in this kind of money from their standpoint.

Trust me, I hope that they do put effort into the servers and client and what not, I really do. I even made a post asking Riot to make an effort for the new year to do it. I'm not asking for an east coast server or anything big, I'm just asking for them to make an honest effort to improve it. I'm not sure your make fun of me comment, as them fixing something later would not prove in the slightest that they have made an effort thus far, which was the argument.
