@Riot, season start reset?

So I've seen a lot of people saying that everyone is getting a hard ELO reset, or at least implying it. The thing is that I've not seen anything stating what kind of MMR reset we are looking at, are we looking at a soft reset like we saw in seasons 3 and 4 or something more pronounced. I'm kinda assuming, with the new match maker, that the system wont be reset, or maybe get a soft reset.
