Having 1000 games and being Silver still is just the same as having 1000 games and being plat or diamond. You're both stuck in an elo, and you're both not getting out, or getting better. Just because you're a specific skill level does not mean you're meant to be there, no matter what people say. So no, you aren't bad. You're just under the curve.

I would play ranked but I couldn't find anyone that would help me. I was new. So, after 3 or 4 games of, "go back to bots, or just play normal" I did. And my elo went right down to Bronze 5. And yet I still don't mind.

You become bronze when you hit 30. Silver when your mechanics improve. Gold when your map-wide strategy and decision making skills improves. Platinum when your ability to understand lane matchups and teamcomps improve. (these all apply to all divisions, but, on the whole, I feel that each point becomes more important at each ELO)

Beyond that, to improve, the two most important things are to: -refine your champion pool for each roles -be as consistent as humanly possible.

The only people who are 'stuck' anywhere are the people who complain about being stuck. Anybody can climb the ladder if they take an analytical approach to their losses instead of blaming their teammates or calling it an 'off game'.

For instance, when I hit a certain tiredness, I just need to stop playing League. I become unable to properly watch the minimap. This leads me to do things like overextend in lane or run in to the enemy team 1v5 when I "thought my team was right behind me".

Stuff like not playing Yasuo because "he's op" and instead playing Annie mid because you have 300 games played as her will help as well.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I've got for now.

My theory is that if you think you are good enough to get out of a league, stop playing roles like tanks and stuff and start that carry roles. Mid and jungle are OP AS F at carrying if you are actually better than everyone else at your league. Just pick up Jarvan or Kha'zix jungle or something like Fizz mid and just faceroll every lane.

Its fairly difficult to rise through the ladder unless you can single handedly carry games. I carried myself to gold with ww jungle and to a lesser extent janna support. Players in silver find it very difficult to fight a lategame ww as he thrives off picks and he can easily 1v2 and even 1v3 if their damage is low enough, And boy do silvers love to skirmish.
