soo champ select trolls still exist

i picked adc as my primary and got it. we get into champ select and my "support" picks jinx and says he didnt want to play support, he wanted to play adc, but he was forced to pick a secondary role. So now i have to queue dodge cuz of this troll?! How is that fair?? This system isnt any better than the last one. Just cuz someone picks a roll doesnt mean they have to stick to it, they can still pick any champ they want and go anywhere they want. And theres also no way to report to this person, cuz theres no option in champ select to report....and once i dodge i get a 5 min penalty while he gets to go on playing like he did nothing wrong. Riot you guys are clueless as to how to make a system work. The person who does nothing wrong gets punished, while the person who caused the problem gets away with it. SMH at this game. DoTA 2 is so far ahead of LoL its unreal

Go play dota then, nobody cares. Trolls exists everywhere learn to deal.

Until they punish them, nothing is going to change.

While I agree that the issue you bring up is a valid one, I don't see any good technical way to impose the rule other than community enforcement. If you have a suggestion to fix the problem that could work, suggest it. Getting angry at riot for being "clueless" gets nothing constructive done.

For example, if someone gets the support role before they can lock in, the adc has to approve their current champion. This puts more power in the adc's hands to stop trolls but it would still be unfair, because if the adc doesn't approve the champion who gets punished for wasting everyone's time? The support right-- unless the adc wasn't paying attention and didn't approve because they weren't looking, so it could be either of their faults, but you can't punish both because that would be unfair to the one who wasn't at fault-- This proposed system doesn't work, and it took twenty minutes of sitting and thinking to come up with it.

Suggest, don't complain. If you can't think of a better option, why do you assume riot can? Yes, it's their "job," but so is making new champions and reworking old champions, and hosting ip weekends, and making skins, and hosting sales, and painting/animating the welcome screen, and updating the forums, and dredging the forums for ideas, and making special game modes (not to mention modifying the main stays), and developing new items, and adjusting the mastery pages (though I wish they'd add a pop up before you queue up for the first time after they do that (see another suggestion)), and and and and and.... ALL of that takes time, A lot of time. Riot has a lot to deal with to just make the game work. Making it hard to troll is their responsibility, yes; but it's more our responsibility as a community to make people not want to troll.

You're breaking the rule on the first place. Don't dodge the q, no one was forcing you.
