Malzahar should only get 2 voidlings

Hes more oppressive in lane than Illaoi ever was. You literally cant do anything against that shit when there 7 voidlings up at a time. You cant get close to a minion to farm or else you get malefic visions put on you and now the voidlings come after you. And its not like you can stand there and tank them to kill them. So your only option is to run away. Plus now youve got 0hp and have to recall anyway. They need to do something about that. He should only get 2 voidlings at any time. make the # of voidlings he can have scale with level...i dunno. But at this point, if youre against a malzahar in lane i suggest you just go afk from that lane and go duo lane with your mid laner. Youll get more out of that lane than you will trying to lane against that insane clusterf*ck that is malzahar. How he was ever released onto live servers in that condition is beyond me. He's by far the most broken thing I have seen in league in some time now

I have a solution.

Restrict the number of castable voidlings to 2 but a single cast spawns 2 voidlings. Upon death the voidling splits into 4 voidlings of greater size with a 20s timer. Also, auto attacks from voidlings should give the grounded debuff. Also, if attacked 3 consecutive times by a voidling, the target is stunned for .5s.

No need to thank me, I'm glad to help. I know some riot people so I might be able to push these ideas through and make them permanent.

if he gets 7 voidlings up, that's because he cleared the wave with each new voidling assisting in killing a minion, and by then you shouldnt be close to him since your wave is gone. Just saying.

side note: they only last 12 seconds, stop spawning more after 8, and get 1 shotted by turrets.
