I think its time riot admits that graves' rework.....as an adc.....failed. Its great in top lane and jungle, and i love the rework as a whole! But in the bot lane hes bad. All the enemy has to do is have the support stand in front of the enemy adc while they both focus graves. Graves then can't even touch the adc cuz all of his attacks hit the support. Its way too easy to make graves utterly useless in bot lane. Too easily countered
Idk he was a fine adc before the rework, maybe they didn't want him in the adc role.
ADCs don't need to be played Bot to be good, which is something I think Riot wanted to get across with the Champ/Item reworks.
We can see Graves and Twitch in the Jungle, Lucian and Jhin in Mid, among others, freeing up more opportunities like Riot tried to set up with Mordekaiser in bot (Even if Mordekaiser specifically didn't do it too well).

Graves isnt bad anywhere, ive taken him mid with success, since i can just delete the midlaner
Lol no, that whole argument is overruled if you are playing with Blitz.
That's why it was a marksman update, not an ADC update :^)
If that's the case, bring back Soraka's old Q. Thus she can be viable other than support! etc....
