Check exhibit A. The enemy team decided to go with what was the current fad (apart from the Cass pick), and not any picks that could cause a game-changing combo, or had the late game advantage.

i dont think khazix, cassiopea, kogmaw or alistar are considered op by anybody right now. your enemy team just straight out had a very bad teamcomp with little to no cc other than alistar and only single target focused while all dmg are extremely squishy and easy to be killed.

i can see how the teamfight went, gnar or amumu goes in for some cc, and mf ult, kogmaw/khazix/cassiopea got deleted and garen/alistar run for their life but still got chased down.

they arent blindly picking op champ, they just have a bad teamcomp.

Their team has absolutely 0 champions that are even considered "OP" or have higher win rates than the champions on your team. Meanwhile, your team has Amu, who has always been freelo and MF, who is constantly complained about and wins more than any other adc. Then comes the fact Fizz is much stronger than Cass, and Gnar can easily win against champions like Garen.
