We should be able to disenchant champion mastery tokens. 1 Shard = 50 Essence
1 Champion Mastery Token (no matter the kind) = 50 Champion Essence
I would sacrifice delaying other masteries in order to actually get one. Chests are very far and few because of the way keys work, and as a player without all the runes or champions, IP is also scarce. Even if you could disenchant them for 25 essence, this should at least be an option.
