If you look at the notification up top or on the Service Status page, you see that Riot has a short explanation on what the issue was that required disabling Ranked, and where there are at working to fix it.
Can we always get clarification like this please?
I remember when I started playing (S3) they always had little descriptions of why things were disabled. Then eventually they just stopped. It was a pleasant surprise yesterday when I saw the description.
yeah they don't seem to actually tell us WHY they disable stuff....
This is the best communication we've gotten with Riot about bugs like this in some time, and I love it :) I wanna see more of this level of status update!

Yeah I agree. I can never find information on why something is disabled, so it was nice to see Riot tell us what was up!
