Is this one game really worth the permaban?

I just wanted to create peace in this game I know I should have muted and btw this is from April thus the April fools joke thing. I just told my team i was gonna afk at 20 in champ select but I then in game I said I was joking and I was called many racial slurs and demeaning names. All I wanted was to win and Riot Support said that this is the only game I was negative in after my 14-day ban and why I am permabanned... I would say this is borderline toxic and something that shouldn't be worthy of a permaban? You guys thoughts?
