i wish we could turn off displaying our champion mastery levels

i have recently returned from before the times when the champion mastery appeared, and i already hit the mastery level 6 with ahri

here i realized one thing, while it is indeed satisfying to achieve a higher mastery level, it sucks to show it to the others

firstly it doesn't validate you for them. unlike how it is with ranked, everybody can achieve mastery 7 with any champion, it needs only a bit of persistence and literally 5 good games after getting mastery 5, also a bit of blue dust which is very easy to get

secondly, while it doesn't validate you, it can get you criticized. like, suppose i achieve mastery 7 with ahri and take her in a normal draft (anyway the only thing i play pre-season (and likely at the beginning of the next season, till the dust settles) it's normal drafts), they will think and possibly say "what a loser, brings a mastery 7 champ in a normal game"; then, nobody can perform well all the time, suppose i also lose my lane/feed, now i can be directly told "how did you even get your mastery if you suck"; it can be even more ridiculous, suppose i play another champion and lose to my mastery 7 champion being played by somebody who barely played with it before (shit happens), they can now mock me like "you suck you can't even beat your main when it's played by a first timer"

i already saw examples of all the three things above, not with me, lvl 6 is too low and hit it too recently, with others. it doesn't bother me too much, but still makes me think that it would be better to be able to hide my champion mastery whatsoever.
