Is malzahar OP?
Every time I play vs him he wins lane EVERY TIME there's no counter play it's always just QWER and you get intaskilled there's no way I can win vs him.

Malz defiantly not overpowered, he like most mages, is slow and to say the least relies heavily on his combo to kill (that or to use his E to poke his laneing opponent down) I love playing Malzahar but I realise his biggest weakness is just easily being gankable, he has no real escape if he over extends, and he is very good at 1v1 fights, but hes not great in a team fight since, in my opinion hes a single target burst damage. The best way to win/go even with a malzahar is to avoid his bouncing E if its on minons, otherwise you're going to take alot of damage.Also once he his 6, you should only be going near him when you know for sure his ult is down, otherwise like you said yes, he is a very bursty mage.
If you do play any champs against him with hard CC he can be easily stopped to be honest, since like I said, hes very immobile and has no real escapes apart from his Q, which is a very short silence. Thats just my opinion on the matter, Im sure other people could give you a better way to counter him but just stay away from his Visions, and dont let him get near enough to ult you, all I can suggest.

every time. Completely negates his ult and then I return mine. Have not lost to him in lane in a long long time.
