Can I get banned for using a 3rd party recording application FOR league?

So my friends and I did this SICK baron steal and teamfight victory that changed the game in our favor, and since we couldn't replay that, I started using this application that automatically record all the games I play. Is this illegal?

It's called MKLoL. It isn't like fraps where you use a record button to do recording.

Thing is, this application also has several features where the user can change skin of a champion that he/she uses (to be honest, I TRIED this feature, but it didn't work for some reason.. I think it's illegal anyways), and it has several other features like changing ward skins. Mind you only the user of the app can see this, it only creates overlays for the individual's viewing experience. I was told however, that this "modifies" the game, and could be banned for it.

I don't use these additional features (i maybe checked out a few ward skins, sue me), only the recording feature.

Is this bannable? If so, I'll delete the application.
