The silence just wasn't healthy at all, though. I guess it may be a little healthier, now that he can't kill you in a spell rotation, but still not something I think should be added.

I never said Garen was fine. But as an AD caster, at least your autoattacks don't tickle them, so there is something you can do while silenced. Also, as Kuroi86 mentioned, it's not just about silence but blink + silence + combo + blink away. As a mage, there is absolutely nothing you can do. Super frustrating. That was a terrible champion design.

Would be nice if Riot did gave back Kassa his silence. Honestly there isn't that many champions that uses channels and its rare to find a situation where he can freely interrupt one. His ratios are nerfed enough where it might be healthy to reintroduce a silence. If the issue is counter play then why not make his Q a skillshot or move the silence to his Nether blade active to make things more risky.

Interrupt only works on channels. It's basically a knockback without the knockback.
