Maybe that's how he lost hes ability to silence. His mother took it away and that's why he regrets it.

Would be nice if Riot did gave back Kassa his silence. Honestly there isn't that many champions that uses channels and its rare to find a situation where he can freely interrupt one. His ratios are nerfed enough where it might be healthy to reintroduce a silence. If the issue is counter play then why not make his Q a skillshot or move the silence to his Nether blade active to make things more risky.
