This post is to help you League players that suffer from insomnia. I have some real life friends that I've helped get ride of their insomnia. Malicious Fury is here to help you, stranger.

  1. Make a set bed time every night. Stick with it. Your mother knew what was best for you when you were a kid. Use her advice and keep a set bed time every night until you die.
  2. Drink your energy drinks/coffee/caffeinated beverages only at the start of your day. Do not take them half way through or later. Rockstar Recovery Lemonades sure are good mixed with other drinks, but they aren't good for you after a long day's work.
  3. Lower your sugar intake. Those Cadbury Mini Eggs sure are addicting this time of year, but really, a whole bag of those in a day will keep you up.
  4. Don't take long naps. Just take power naps (under 30 minutes max; 1 a day max). You'll really mess up your system if you nap whenever you're tired.
  5. Ask your doctor what's right for you. Every body is different. But the above 4 tips usually works for everybody.

All of this should be common knowledge but some guys really ignore it and say "yeah whatever." Hope this helps <3

One thing I have noticed about playing this game at night before bed is that, while playing, your mind is moving at 100000 mph. Then, suddenly when you are trying to go to bed, you are trying to get your mind to be able to fall asleep after it was moving at 1000000 mph for a few (or several) hours. It is very very hard to actually fall asleep.

It's not insomnia. It's habit. Gamers tend to sleep late at night. If you sleep at around 4 in the morning and enough hours, the body will start getting tired at that time of the day. My advice as a fellow university student: if you sleep late, wake up earlier so you will feel tired earlier the next night. This will help your body adjust its "clock". Edit: Also, as Malicious Fury said, don't take long naps and don't drink energy drinks at the end of the day.
