Note from your friendly neighborhood jungler

I just thought I'd take a little time to point out a little something I've been noticing a lot lately, and it happens almost every time a game goes poorly. People always flame the jungler. Okay that's an exaggeration, but I'd say at least two out of three times, if a game goes poorly the first person to blame is the jungler.

Now let me say first that I do not believe junglers are never at fault. I have certainly seen my fair share of junglers who have fallen short, but I believe that they get way more blame than anyone else.

Now here is the biggest thing that people need to understand. Especially if you haven't jungled before, you might not think of this but here it is: ** -If your lane is pushed, it makes it REALLY hard for the jungler to gank it. ** Now that's not to say you should never push your lane, but it is very unfair to your jungler to push up to the enemy turret every time you can, and then complain that they never ganked your lane. If you want ganks to go well, you have to set them up.

Second thing, just as important: there is a right way and a wrong way to ask for help from your jungler. Here are some examples. Right: -"Hey I'm having a hard time here could you gank?" -"This guy is pushing really hard, it'd be an easy gank" Or if you really think you are far enough up that you can dive under turret: -"Let's dive this guy, we're up far enough" Wrong: -"Hey want to actually do something? Gank a lane ever maybe?" -"(enemy jungler) has been here 3 times already and you have been here zero, stop ignoring the lanes"

Third: If you are getting ganked repeatedly, it means that you are making it easy for that jungler to gank you. Simple as that. Sure, dying to a gank once or twice happens to everyone, but if the enemy jungler has come into your lane 4 times, you are playing too far up and don't have enough wards. It is not your jungler's fault if you are getting ganked a lot.

Remember, your jungler is there to help you, so being mean towards them right off the bat is not the way to get their help. They're trying to help out all 3 lanes while farming their jungler and in a lot of cases counterjungling/getting counterjungled. It's a lot to balance, so help a guy out.
