If you think you get to have a free lane whenever you want, then I get to have a free champ pick in whatever role I choose, it's only fair.

A call like that - beyond its use, if necessary, in determining Call Order - can be considered to act as an attempt to open discussions on roles. If the Vlad locked in first then BeatzBoyFTW locked Darius Jungle to retaliate, then either BeatzBoy was a lower pick priority or it was non-draft pick. In either case, once Vlad chose a top and locked it in, BeatzBoy had no right to screw over his team by throwing a tantrum via troll-picking.

For team's sake they should wait and discuss but if they really want a role, they are first pick and can have it regardless of what others call. But if you're lower on the order you do ned to wait at least to the point when those above you have picked.

The guy didn't say anything. He didn't type slower. He didn't load slower. He elected to simply pick, without even trying to communicate.
If you're attempting to open a dialogue about something, and the other guy refuses to engage in that dialogue, instead electing to actively go against what you've expressed, it's not a dick move to be irritated at him.
And, y'know, OP could have gone double-top with some kind of "no, it's my lane, screw you" garbage. Instead, he chose a different role, and played a champ that at least kind of works in that role (I'm not a fan of Darius jungle, but I've seen it work).
