Vel'Koz's "Lore"

Now, don't get me wrong - I am all for change and the evolution of LoL's lore. But I feel that the current, proposed lore for Vel'Koz is a few steps in the wrong direction. I am fine with this piece as it stands (writing quality aside), but I feel that to use this on Vel'Koz's lore tab would be a serious problem. Primarily, this is because it does not serve the same purpose that every other champion's lore does. Every other champion's lore gives players a good idea as to who the champion is, what they did before joining the League, WHY they joined the League - basically, it gives a background of the champion that players know what the character is and why they'd want to play as this person.

The proposed "character pieces" are not an ample substitution for these bios. You learn little about Vel'Koz from reading the piece and it gives players almost no idea about who Vel'Koz is, why he's here, why he's in the League, etc. I'm not even going to start on the writing style. Now, using a piece like this in concert with a bio would be excellent (kinda like what you did with Lucian's teaser), but it doesn't work well on its own for the reasons listed.

Anyone else feel the same way?
