Upon creation of an account, ask this question:

"Do you know what 'gank' means?"

if they answer "yes", don't allow them to create their account.

problem solved.

How is this going to stop smurfing? Someone creating a smurf account could simply answer "No" and now they have their smurf account created.

What about people who come from Dota 2? They'll obviously know what gank means.
