Like, what happen to all their "You must have been feeding hard. Git gud scrub" or "Show chat logs since I'm sure you were highly toxic" comments? All I see is "I love Dunkey, so you should unban him" lovey-dovey comments only. So he receives the same treatment as toxic players should be, I don't see why would he be special enough to receive special treatment. He's still a League player just like everyone else, and all I see here are 80% of communities acting like Justin Bieber's mindless fan girls.

Yes people suffer consequences of their decisions, that why dunkey got banned for typing what he typed. trying to blame somebody else might get them both banned but it aint letting dunkey off the hook. you don't get to break the rules because someone else is, that just retarded.

I think we as a community (the internet) have a fundamental lack of understanding of the difference between trash talking and intentionally making someone feel bad. I don't know where this idea came from that it's fine for people on the internet to say crap like "you fucking asshole I hope you die" and have it fall under "lol just trash talk no worries".

That sort of thing is rare in real life; even in actual competitive sports, trash talk's extent is more along the lines of "prepare to get wrecked" rather than things that dig into a person's heart.

Could you imagine if, in the middle of a soccer game, one of the players started yelling at a teammate calling him a worthless piece of shit? The vast majority of the players would be like "dude that's not cool" and the offending player might even get benched for it.

Just because someone's words are put into text rather than voice doesn't make it OK for those words to be shitty. But do we ever see the feeders get banned? Thread after thread we see people complaining about people running down mid and dying, but when we search the feeder's match history, they're still fucking playing after like 20 games of feeding. But guess who gets banned? The person yelling at him. Telling some idiot on your team, (in any game) to stop fucking doing what they're doing isn't something you should get banned or punished for.

Dunkey flames everyone, not just feeders though. A case could be made that flaming against intentional feeders shouldn't be punished as harshly, but Dunkey does this a lot (although he doesn't seem to do it out of maliciousness).

The Malphite feeding doesn't justify Dunkey's toxicity, but really if you're going to feed you should more than expect someone to be flaming you. Sure toxicity isn't great for the game, but I don't feel like people should be banned over being toxic when someone is feeding and throwing the game for your team.

I understand the logic behind Dunkey's video from a personal stance. I'm currently banned until the 16th due to me saying something along the lines of "stfu" and "carrying this yas and vlad so hard", as they both troll fed and the Vlad threatened to AFK as well. Yasuo went 7-19, and Vladimir went 7-20. Yet despite them troll feeding, threatning to AFK, and also purposely throwing the game as the enemy Nexus was open and right in front of them, I get banned for being "toxic".

I don't typically watch Dunkey at all and have literally not seen a single video he created on anything he owns my entire life except his recent video, and I feel like he has a good point in his video about toxicity, bans, feeding, etc. I'd prefer trash talk in my games than AD Heimer Tank Jungle (which I had recently in a Ranked game) troll feeding and threatning to AFK.

This is still blaming Dunkey's ban off of a single incident. There's no telling how much he would have done to receive this type of ban instead of a chat restriction. These types of punishments don't come from one indecent. And even if the malph is feeding how does that give Dunkey the right to flame which is also breaking the rules. At best you have two people banned instead of one, but it doesn't change the fact that he got banned for his own actions.

This is coming from someone who has played the game almost three years and never received a chat restriction, because this is just a hobby for me. You have to actively try really hard to get this type of punishment, like go out of your way to get over a chat restriction. I don;t buy into everyone blaming Riot for something he did to himself, nor do i think he should be excused because of a little internet hype.

You might prefer a trash talker to deal with over a troll or afk but its still against the rules. can't change that.

How do you know the feeder is ever banned though? That's my main concern. Not that long ago I had a Singed who fed the entire game to the enemy Poppy until she was like 20-0 at 15 minutes into the game. I asked him why, and I actually didn't flame him at all, but he said he was just seeing how long it would take him to get banned for feeding. Looking at his match history, he purposely fed every single game over the course of 2 weeks. Either that or he just sucks at Full Attack Speed Singed Jungle without Smite.

I feel like Riot prioritizes toxicity to be banned out before feeders, and even then they do a poor job at it. So many people are chat restricted for just saying a stupid joke or nothing actually toxic, or in my case one time I've been restricted for flat out saying "gg wp", either that or Riot confuses absolute silence for a week straight with "go kill yourself nerd gg ez get rekt".

Both trash talkers and people who intentionally throw the game suck and they're going against the rules of the game, but Riot shouldn't just prioritize one over the other, doing more than just saying; "Welcome to the LeaverBuster system, because you had a power outage you now have to wait 5 minutes in queue on Twitter!""

Well I don't know how to break this too you but the issue people are having with this is that dunkey got banned for breaking the rules. But people don't think he deserves the ban because some one else also broke the rules, that not how it works.

As for Riot prioritizing toxicity over feeding. Of course it looks that way, being toxic is incrimination your self since your name pops up by everything you type. Trying to distinguished a feeder from a bad player is much harder which is why it takes longer to them to get banned.

Over all it seems your more concerned with seeing the malphite banned, which he should be if he was intentionally feeding, but missing the point of this thread and this discussion that intentional feeding is not an excuse to break another rule.

Oh I understand, but It's like Riot expects us to not get mad over something that they should be preventing. If they don't want us to get so angry and mad, which we rightfully should be, then why aren't they doing more to prevent stuff like this? Why are they just giving us some messed up system that barely works and probably punishes well behaved players more than poorly behaved players?

If you're building 6 Zeals and going something like 0-25 every single game you play, It's pretty obvious you're a troll and need to be banned, but really a guy feeds for at least 2 weeks straight playing potentially dozens of games and nothing happens to him but god forbid I say "stfu" because that would make me literally the most terrible person in the world for doing so and deserve to be instantly banned.

Even in the case that it is just a bad player, I don't even care. If you're so bad that you're going 0-20+ every game for dozens of games for weeks straight with 6 Zeals, you clearly don't care enough to improve and are just ruining people's games. I don't think a bad player should be banned, but It's obvious to tell a feeder from a bad player and if someone is that bad I would be more than okay with risking banning simply a bad player to possibly remove another feeder from the game's community.

They expect you not to flame because most people don't do that. Unless it money on the line i don't see how any reasonable person gets so worked up over a game that you resort to hurling insults at random people online that you don't even know.

I get that you don't like feeders and that they are ruining your gaming experience I'm just not the guy to solve that for you. This thread is about how Dunkey deserves the ban he got for doing what he did. If you can't enjoy the game because of feeders or at least not keep yourself from raging in the chat you might want to fall back for a while until they get a system in place to better handle that.

It sounds like you like the game so its no point in going out like Dunkey did and leaving a game you feel this strongly about on a bad note.

It's the only thing they can do. What can we do? We're so helpless to do anything and HAVE to sit through a feeder for AT LEAST 20 minutes with nothing we can do at all. We just have to hope that Riot bans them, but that doesn't solve anything. You still lose the game unfairly. You still waste your time doing absolutely nothing and have to play through the game like everything is fine, and if you AFK you get punished for it too. We can't do anything but flame and pray to at least try to get something out of it.

Dunkey was toxic but I don't think that matters when he's directing it at a person that's preventing him from winning a game he deserved to win, and probably doesn't even care what Dunkey is saying and is probably laughing at him for saying it. If Dunkey was yelling at an innocent kid who just was a bad player and was at least trying to play the game correctly, It's a whole different story.

Personally I don't rage or get mad at the game, but I won't hesitate to say something when you're troll feeding, threatening me, and purposely didn't end the game just to make me lose it.

Dunkey was banned for Dunkey's behaivor. It doesn't even matter what the malphite was doing. If anything this is the message that the Dunkey fans need to take away because i think its likely that they will learn a thing or two about how and why bans are given.

He can't be punished without players reporting him. So many times, I see people refuse to report other players, who should be either "Feeding" or "Bad player," just because they felt sorry that one player yelled at them.

Please, PLEASE, remember that no one can be banned for being a "bad player" and that it only affects the way players are matched up. It did appear that the Malphite was just someone bumming on a friend's account (or trolling, but we don't see the whole game), so any reports may have easily been "Bad player." Still, the other end should be addressed.

I'm all in about wanting that Malphite to be banned at least, but what I see from Dunkey is still unjustified to make himself unbanned because he spouted bad words in game. I can be about 50% sure he's hiding from some fact that he was toxic in games that he wasn't recording.

But still, it's not like he got permanently banned or anything.

Dunkey isn't exactly being honest first game he references it's riven jungle not riven support (he says they won the game which they did not). The Oriana she actually had built ap not ad. There comp was garbage in the first game which is true. Also his second game he was 11/13/22 compared to malphite 5/17/19. Malphite did feed that game but he didn't do great with only 5 less deaths himself. (Checked on op.gg) Also if you watch dunkey on stream you would know he is quite toxic (has had multiple chat bans etc.) It's no surprise he got banned. It's not as if dunkey is being honest himself or is following the rules himself. When he says riot didn't do anything for him, guess what riot promoted him at season 2 world's by showing his videos. I mean what more can you want then to have riot show your videos at the most watched lol event?

He literally says "I was close to getting to my promotionals, I got to 98 points" in order to get to 98 points he had to have won. Thing is he is toxic very frequently to people in games for not much reason. Considering his videos I'm more surprised he hasn't been banned from the game before. (BTW he has had chat bans/ranked restrictions, source: I watch his stream from time to time)

I do agree that it's easy to get pissed when there is an intentionall feeder but that comment of his was way over the top. Saying he hopes they get gunned down and shit, like what the actual fuck man.
