this mmr reset sucks so much

man i sucked in season 4 and obliterated my mmr...

i put in effort and improve greatly in preseason 5 did well in placements and got placed in b5 but got like 35+ lp per win(and I did well and started to climb) gained a rank then season 5 ended(didnt play much in season 5)...

then this season do average in promos lose a rank(so b5) and now I earn 22 lp per win....seriously this sucks I'm 12/2 since promos and i barley climbed a rank(and still have no gain in lp per win, still at 22)... seriously this is just obnoxious

I was Platinum 5 before the reset with roughly Platinum 2 MMR.

After going 6/4 in my placement matches (against primarily Platinum 5-ish players), I was placed into Gold 2.

I have no issues with the current system.

If you are getting 22 LP per victory, you should be climbing pretty quickly.

Keep at it; if you deserve to climb, you will.

ya im climbing pretty steadily but its excruciating compared to 37 lp per win last season >.< i guess it's called a grind for a reason :D

It doesn't take much to get back up to where you were, just gotta grind it out. Was D4, 7-3 placed me P2, now D4 again.

How much LP do you lose with a loss? Looks like you're climbing pretty fast based on your op.gg

i think like 14 or something like that, so its not like its hard to climb it's just frustrating like walking into heavy winds your moving forward but your taking a beating while doing it ^.^

That sadly is how the the ranked climb is for most people. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Be happy your win/loss differential is that high. Mine right now is like 4-5 which makes climbing particularly grueling. That said, as long as you get more LP from wins then you lose from losses and you have at least a 50% win rate you will climb relatively fast.
