Sometimes I wonder....

So I just got out of a match that I lost (That doesn't bother me honestly) and during this match I had a really good fight with this enemy shen. So i thought I'd tell him hey good fight. Their fiddlesticks proceeds to say this after every time he has the entire team come top lane to kill me, and during any team fight in which I die. Now I meant "hey that was a good fight" to this shen, however they all continued to say how i was talking shit and the like. Then I get 5 man reported. I don't know why they thought that, but whatever.

My question to you all is: Is that right to have a 5 man report for complimenting an enemy player on how he did well?
