Season 5 : Still no clear distinction between ranked and normal games .

As i compared it before in some other thread to a caffe .

The game is a Caffe , run by Riot .

Now Riot created two separate rooms, one for the smokers ( normal games ) and one for the non-smokers ( ranked games ) .

All they did was to create the rooms , and put a sign on them for each one of them.

And as usual, people get mad, non-smokers get mad because smokers come and smoke in their room, smokers get mad cause non-smokers come in their room and act like they shouldn't smoke. Etc.

That's exactly what currently happens , ranked players get mad because people come into their games with a " i just play for fun " attitude instead of playing for the win, normal players get mad because people come into their games and tryhard etc instead of being relaxed and having fun .

Can't we just have an official distinction between those two ?

Let's suppose i just dinged lvl 30 .

How do i choose between playing normals or ranked ?

Is there anything telling me how to choose between those two ? Nope . Why ?

I don't think there should be a distinction between modes. Who says I can't have fun in ranked? And who says I can't try hard in normals?

As a causal player, I only play for fun. I don't particularly care about the outcome as long as I enjoy myself. Video gaming should be a relaxing experience and not as stressful as people make it.

As a competitor, I will always try my hardest.

Therefore in every mode, I try my hardest and also have fun. I suppose I can't play any mode :(

What you're describing is not fixed via mode description. It's player attitude which exists in every online game.
